"Nothing Last" is a short made by us for the UNT Short Film Club 48 Hour Film Race. In 48 hours; we wrote, shot, and edited this short film. We won 3rd place and were second runner ups for cinematography and acting!
Lost The Summer represents the constant cycle of the seasons. It transformed from a 2-minute bedroom demo to a cinematic rock anthem. The final version is a result of years of rearranging and polishing by multiple Denton musicians that took a liking to the original concept. After the pandemic in 2021, they continued to play the song as part of their live setlist.
UNT Short Film Club sponsors an official short film production written by Melissa snow, directed by Delanie Jo Albaugh, produced by Amanda Rodriguez, featuring actress Asia Bass as Margot McDaniel, the main character in the film. Music composed by Kaarthik Tharmiya. Edited by Dylan Banfield.
